Ss Illtyd and Peter, Llanhamlach

Ss Illtyd and Peter is one of the six rural churches in the Beacons pastoral group which covers an area to the south east of Brecon, with the Brecon Beacons to the south and the River Usk valley to the north. Services are currently held at each church once a month. Services in the other five churches in the Benefice are St Mary, Cantref - 3rd Sunday of month; St Bridget, Llansantffraed - 3rd Sunday; St Meugan, nr Pencelli (Llanfeugan) - 2nd Sunday; St Brynach, Llanfrynach - 1st Sunday; St Tetti, nr Talybont (Llandetty) - 4th Sunday. In June, the six churches became part of the new Beacons, Usk & Epynt Ministry Area. Services and news about the six churches will soon be available on a new Ministry Area website.
