Year of Prayer

Whatever our journey into faith has been like, however hesitant or uncertain, or perhaps a journey that is still being explored, then in some way prayer will be a part of it. Prayer is for everyone, and everyone can pray.

This invitation is offered to explore each month a different way of praying, and there are more ways of prayer than we can cover in one year! If a way of prayer is new, then a ‘how to pray it’ is given.

These monthly prayers and reflections can be prayed alone, with others, or used as a resource for a prayerful study group in church.

In the film, Bishop John, will say a little more about this Year of Prayer that has been put together by the Church in Wales Spirituality Group. This year the church has been encouraged to read and study the gospel of Luke, and so we would like to encourage a deeper engagement with prayer; pray them and leave them or pray them and pray them again.
