Archbishop's statement
People who are prepared to take on the responsibilities, and the risks, of political life deserve our respect for their readiness to serve the public. While criticism may sometimes be necessary, compassion is always essential, and it is in that spirit that we assure all those involved in this painful experience of our prayers as they seek to serve the people of Wales.
