Archbishop congratulates new leader of Welsh Labour

The Archbishop of Wales, Andrew John, has congratulated Vaughan Gething on winning the Welsh Labour Leadership.

The Archbishop said: "On behalf of the Church in Wales, I send my warm congratulations to Vaughan Gething on his election. Wales faces many challenges and, as Christians, we assure Mr Gething, and all those, of whatever party, who seek to make a positive difference in public life, of our prayers and our practical support."
