Church in Wales Bishops welcome Israel – Gaza ceasefire

The Bishops of The Church in Wales have issued the following statement:

“We welcome the ceasefire and pray this will mark the end of a heartbreaking conflict which has brought suffering and grief to so many. Our thoughts are with all those who have been affected by violence, by hardship and by hatred, and we pray for all those engaged in the task of building peace – that they will be given the strength, wisdom and grace they will need to bring healing and hope.”
