New priests and deacons to be ordained
Hundreds of people will pack cathedrals across Wales this weekend to welcome and support new priests and deacons in a series of ordination services.
The candidates, who have come from all walks of life, will be ordained by their diocesan bishop. Their ordination will mark the beginning of the new stage in their ministry after several years of training.
This Petertide, a total of 48 people are being ordained in the Church in Wales - 25 as deacons and 23 as priests. Most will be ordained this weekend (June 25) and five deacons will be ordained in St Asaph Cathedral on July 2.
You can read more about the candidates and the cathedral services on the diocesan websites below. Some of the services are being live-streamed to enable everyone to join in.
Please hold all the candidates in your prayers as they prepare for ordination and begin their new ministries.
