New priests and deacons to be ordained across Wales
A musician and a former painter and decorator are among people across Wales who will begin new lives serving in the Church in Wales over the next fortnight.
Forty-seven people will be ordained as priests or deacons at special services in our cathedrals this Saturday (June 24) and on July 1.
They will be ordained by their diocesan bishop in front of their families, friends, colleagues and community in services which are open to all. The day marks the culmination of their training for ministry and the start of their new roles in the Church.
You can read about the candidates and find out more about the ordination services on our diocesan websites below. Some of the services will be live-streamed.
Please hold all the candidates in your prayers as they prepare for ordination and begin their new ministries.
