Young Welsh artists bring ancient pilgrimage route to life at Bangor Cathedral

An exhibition showcasing the artistic talents of more than 600 pupils from schools along the acclaimed Llwybr Cadfan pilgrimage trail will open at Bangor Cathedral this April.
The exhibition, running from 10-23 April, showcases unique pilgrimage stamps designed by schoolchildren, reflecting the rich heritage and spiritual significance of sites along the 128-mile route. Twenty-six of these designs have been selected for inclusion in the official Llwybr Cadfan Pilgrim Passport.
Pilgrims walking the route will now have their passports stamped at key locations along the trail, collecting two stamps for each day of walking plus an additional stamp when visiting Ynys Enlli (Bardsey Island), the pilgrimage's final destination. Each stamp, designed by local children, captures the essence of churches, holy wells, villages, and towns along the pilgrimage trail. The passport will be available to buy in the Spring.
