St. Oudoceus is a fine late Victorian church close to the River Wye, named for St. Euddogwy, or Dogo, or Oudoceus in Latin. He was Bishop of Llandaff in the 6th century and by legend a lover of animals. The church has some beautiful wall paintings and marble carvings as well as skilfully crafted stained glass windows.
